Candidate Statements

Following a period of nominations, 18 candidates are standing for election to the Governing Board this year. They are listed below in alphabetical order by family name. Those candidates who are currently members of the Board and are seeking re-election for a second term are identified, as are those who will be 30 years old or under on the date the results of the election are announced.

There is now a period of one week for voters to review the candidates before voting opens on 3 November. For any questions or comments, please contact Lucie Binder, Head of Governance & Strategy and electoral officer for this election at

The Governing Board needs a range of experiences, knowledge and expertise amongst its membership. We do not expect any single Governing Board member to have all the necessary skills and experience. You can view a comparison of the candidates’ stated skills and experience (Questions 5-11 of the Candidate Statements) in this Excel document. No one candidate was expected to list skills or experience against more than two areas.
